Machine Operative with FLT Counterbalance

Shift: Nights – Monday to Thursday, 6:30pm – 6:30am
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy manufacturing team. This role involves primarily operating machinery on the production line, with some forklift duties to support the movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading materials and finished goods using a Counterbalance FLT

• Ensuring machines are supplied with the correct materials for production

• Carrying out basic quality checks on products

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Approximately 80% of the role will involve machine operation, with around 20% involving FLT Counterbalance work to load and unload the machine and move materials within the facility.

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date and accredited)

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience operating machinery preferred

• Ability to work night shifts and follow production targets

• Good attention to detail and safety awareness

• Reliable with a strong work ethic
